These are some of the questions I hear most often from clients and people who are curious about my work. Hopefully, you'll find the answers you're looking for here. If not, just ask me! I'm always happy to explain.

Appointments & Sessions

1. How often should I schedule an appointment?

It depends on you and what we're working on! If you've received a remedy, check the label. It will tell you when your body indicated it wanted to be tested again. For those actively working on wellness concerns or wanting to be proactive, I generally recommend every 8 weeks. If you're doing well and just want an occasional check-in, every 3–6 months may be enough. There's no set rule for everyone.

2. When should I contact you?

Earlier is usually better! You don't have to wait until something has been bothering you for weeks.

If you're not feeling quite right, dealing with stress, or have a new concern, reach out. Tell me what's going on, and we can discuss the next step.

3. What types of appointments do you offer?

My most popular appointment is the Personalized Wellness Session, which lasts up to 60 minutes.

New Client Sessions are scheduled for up to 2 hours. I also offer shorter Kinesiology Testing appointments (15 minutes), along with a free 15-minute Discovery Call for new clients who have questions. Most appointments are conducted over Zoom, so your location doesn't matter. Some shorter services may also be available by phone. You can view the available services and pricing through my website.

4. What are your hours?

Monday–Thursday: 9 AM–5 PM
Friday: 9 AM–11 AM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

I may occasionally be available on weekends for urgent wellness concerns. Contact me directly at 704-641-0968 to ask.

5. How do I prepare for a session?

If you're a new client, please complete the New Client Form on my New Clients page before your appointment. If you want me to test supplements, foods, or other products, have them available during your Zoom session or send me pictures beforehand. Otherwise, there's really nothing special you need to do!

6. What if I don't understand what's happening during my session?

Please stop me and ask! You aren't going to offend me. This is one reason I like Zoom appointments. You can actually see what I'm doing rather than just hearing me explain it. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions.

7. How much information should I share?

As much as you're comfortable sharing! Sometimes the smallest details turn out to be important. If you're wondering whether something is worth mentioning, go ahead and tell me. The more I understand about what's going on in your life, the better I can focus our session.

Remedies & What to Expect

8. What's in my TBA remedy?

The remedy is based on quantum physics and energetic principles.

The liquid contains:

  • Distilled water

  • Willard's Water

  • A small amount of alcohol to prevent anything from growing in the bottle

The remedy is energetically charged and customized specifically for you.

9. Why do I run out of my remedy before my next appointment?

This is by design. The remedy is created to help your body detox or clear the root cause of a symptom—not to be taken indefinitely. In most cases, the remedy runs out in three to four weeks, which is typically enough time for your body to detox or nearly complete the detox process. After that point, your body is doing what it does best: healing.

10. What if I forget to take my remedy?

Don't stress about it! Simply resume your usual schedule when you remember and continue until the bottle is finished.

11. What might I feel after a session?

The most common experiences after a session are emotional shifts or feeling fatigued. This fatigue is usually mild, but listening to your body and resting if needed is always encouraged. Detox symptoms are uncommon. Only about 1% of clients experience them, and when they do, they are typically mild—such as a headache or slight stomach upset.

12. How long does it take to notice results?

There's no one answer to this. Many clients tell me they begin noticing changes within about three weeks. Others take longer, depending on their individual circumstances. Age, stress, diet, overall wellness, and how long you've been dealing with a concern can all play a part. Everyone's experience is different.

Who I Work With & How My Approach Fits

13. Who is this work best suited for?

People who are curious about holistic wellness and open to trying a different approach. You don't have to understand everything I do before scheduling. That's what I'm here to explain! But I do believe this should be your decision. If someone is pushing you into an appointment and you're not interested, that's probably not the best way to begin.

14. Do you work with children, animals, and families?

Absolutely! I work with people of all ages, from newborns to seniors. I've supported women during pregnancy and childbirth, worked with entire families, and supported people near the end of life.

I also work with animals—dogs, cats, horses, and even one of my favorite opossums!

15. Can I continue seeing my doctor or therapist?

Of course! My work is intended to fit alongside the care you're already receiving, including medical care, counseling, or other wellness approaches. Just let me know what you're currently doing and what medications or supplements you're taking so I can consider that information during our work together.

16. I love what you do, but how do I explain it to someone else?

I hear this ALL the time! And I understand. Kinesiology and Total Body Analysis aren't exactly easy to explain if you've never experienced them. The easiest thing to do is share my website. I have videos explaining my work and how sessions are conducted. You can also suggest a free 15-minute Discovery Call. I'm happy to answer questions, explain my approach, and help someone decide whether it's right for them. And if they decide it's not for them, that's perfectly fine. I won't be offended!

Supplements, Communication & Payments

17. What are the best supplements for me?

Oh, I could write a book on this one! However, my preference is generally whole-food supplements and herbs. I also prefer shopping at independent health food stores rather than big-box retailers. But here's the thing: just because a supplement is good for one person doesn't mean it's the right choice for everyone. That's why I offer short Kinesiology Testing sessions. We can explore your individual responses to supplements, herbs, foods, and products before you spend a fortune buying things you may not need.

18. How do you communicate with clients?

Primarily through email. My email address is Susan@SoarWithLove.com. This is where you'll receive session information, personal communication, and my weekly newsletters. Appointment confirmations and reminders may also come from Wix Bookings. If you want to receive my newsletters, you can sign up on my homepage. Be sure to check your spam folder and add my email address to your contacts!

Please don't hesitate to contact me. I know my approach is different from what many people are used to, and I don't expect everyone to understand it right away. I'm always happy to answer questions and help you decide whether Alternative Wellness Center is a good fit for you.
